2008 Legends Game at Colorado Springs
to benfit the Autism Society of Colorado

The Legends Game at Colorado Springs is a regulation seven-inning baseball game that
features retired former players and media members, plus a few selected ringers.

Tickets are available through the Colorado Springs Sky Sox box office. There will be a
large fireworks show following the game.
Players scheduled to attend include former All-Star pitchers Bob Knepper from the
Houston Astros and Tim Burke from the Montreal Expos. Also slated to appeare is former
Colorado Rockies standout Steve Reed, former Yankees and Pirates pitcher Brian Fisher
along with former Seattle Mariners pitchers Mike Trujillo and Clint Zavaras. Borrowing from
the gridiron, former Denver Broncos Dave Studdard and Jack Weil will be there, as will
former CU Buffs Joel Klatt and Barry Helton, a member of the Super Bowl Champion San
Francisco 49'ers.
More players will be announced as they commit to attend.

The official “host” for the event is former Colorado Rockies pitcher Mark Knudson.
The media will be represented again this year. Those schedule to participate in Tim
Neverett, Marius Payton and Bill Doleman from The Mountain, the Mountain West
Conference TV network; Doug Ottewill from Mile High Sports Magazineand CW 2 Sports
Director Marc Soicher.
Renown Hollywood Actor John Ashton is slated to return to manage the
American League squad.

More players and coaches will be announced as they commit to attend.
